Dear all,

Many thanks to everyone for attending the Dorking Rugby Club Mins Festival on Sunday 27th April. Due to the late Easter, this year saw a smaller festival with a few clubs on tour however, combined with the glorious weather, this helped produce an even more fun and friendly festival.  There was certainly a chilled vibe to the morning with family and friends relaxing on picnic blankets and the café and bar being kept very busy.

On the field there was some brilliant rugby played.  Matches were competitive, friendly and fun with lots of smiling players throughout the morning.  The quality of rugby across all the age groups was superb – everyone taking part can be incredibly proud.

A huge thank-you to all for making it such a fantastic day and enjoyable experience. I am particularly proud of the vast number of volunteers supporting the festival which made me truly appreciate the camaraderie and spirit of our great club. The positive feedback we have received is great recognition for all the hard work everyone puts into running our festival.

Finally, I would like to thank our Sponsors for making this happen, your support is truly appreciated.  Great to see the senior teams help out as always (appreciate the men were tired due to a ‘sleepless’ night after the TJs game).  We are back next year on 19 April 2026 and I hope to see you there. Have a safe and enjoyable summer break.

Best wishes
