Dear all,

Many thanks to everyone for attending the Dorking Rugby Club Mins Festival on Sunday 21st April. A huge thank-you to all for making it such a fantastic day and enjoyable experience.

We had 19 clubs, 182 teams, just under 400 games, 1,900 players, countless coaches, families and friends all safely on-site for an 10am start. It was fantastic to introduce a girls section this year taking pride of place on the first fifteen pitch.

I am particularly proud of the vast number of volunteers supporting the festival which made me truly appreciate the camaraderie and spirit of our great club. The positive feedback we have received is great recognition for all the hard work everyone puts into running our festival.

As promised last year, I managed to fix the rain and we had a dry and breezy morning on the BIG Field. The quality of rugby across all the age groups was superb – everyone taking part can be incredibly proud.

Finally, I would like to thank our Sponsors for making this happen, your support is truly appreciated.

We are back next year on 28 April 2025 and I hope to see you there. We have a few ideas to keep building the festival experience with planning for 2025 beginning now! Invites for 2025 will be issued in the autumn so please have a safe and enjoyable summer break.

Best wishes
