After an absence of several years, Dorking Colts find themselves back where they belong, in the National Cup. The Under 18 National Cup which sees only the very best Colts teams selected to take part starts this weekend.

It has been a long journey to get our Colts to where they are today and Armand, Benji and the rest of the Development Team have invested a lot of time and effort to support our current drive in making the Colts one of the best teams in the country.

Armand Roux, Dorking RFC's Director of Rugby had the following to say:

"It has been a long term vision to create an environment where we are making sure we build some solid foundations as a club. The Colts are a crucial part of that with Benji (Wroblewski) and Dom (Brockes) spearheading the Colts Development Programme.

It's the combined effort of so many at the club, but at the end of the day it's the players and the parents who are the ones sacrificing their time to be part of something special. All I can say is a massive good luck to all the players participating in this campaign. It's really not just the success of the 22 players on the day, but combined efforts of every player, parent and coach who has allowed you to be in the position you are in. Go and give 100% for that"





Colts Head Coach, Dominic Brockes stated the following on the Colts return to the competition:

"I am very proud to take our current squad into the competition following our good results last year which are a direct result of the Colts Development Programme and expert senior coaching contributions. The club, the lads and all the development team are looking forward to our first game this Sunday."

Dorking Colts face Horsham Colts in Round 1 of the National 18's Cup down at The Big Field on Sunday with a 1pm KO.
