Dorking Rugby Football Club are looking for new staff to join their team both on the bar and in the Club shop.

The Bar has positions for:

Bar Serving staff:

You will be working in a fun friendly environment. Experience is not necessary, full training given. The shifts are flexible so can fit around studying or other work. As well as matchdays and training sessions for all the DRFC teams, we also host parties and corporate events so the shifts and events are varied and interesting. Some shifts will finish beyond midnight for private events such as birthday parties or wedding celebrations.

You must be over 18 years old.

Be courteous & helpful customers at all time

You will be serving drinks and snacks from the bar

Training will be provided on all tills and card machines

You will be provided with staff uniform which you will be expected to keep clean presentable for every shift

Other duties as required on matchdays or at events

Glass Collector/Support Bar Staff:

On busy matchdays we will need support staff to collect glasses and support the Bar Serving staff. There are 13 1 XV Home gam across the season from September through April, as well as some other key non-league matches. We also have various events where this role will be asked to support the venue.

You can be under 18, training will be provided.

You will be supporting the bar by collecting & washing glasses.

Keeping the stocked with fresh glasses, drinks in fridges and snacks to bar displays.

You will be changing barrels (with full training).

Various other duties on busy match days, such as supporting fund raising events or helping with food service or shop sales when required.

Club Shop Assistant:

Dorking Rugby Football Club is looking for two shop assistants to work in our club shop in the pavilion between September and the following April from 9.30am to 1pm most Sundays and from 12 midday to 3pm on 13 Saturdays when there is a 1 st XV home game.

Responsibilities:

Be knowledgeable about the various items sold in the club shop.

Be courteous and assist customers with their browsing and purchases.

Record sales and payments on the till and take payments by bank card or cash.

Take donations for second hand items.

Replenish items on display in the club shop.

Keep the club shop and storeroom organised, clean and tidy at all times.

Identify and advise the Shop Manager of all low and out of stock items.
