Alongside the cohort of players already announced who have recomitted to the club for the upcoming season we are delighted to announce the following 6 players who have agreed to join the club for our upcoming campaign.

Bryan Karimanzira

Bryan joins us from East Grinstead after he got a taste of top end rugby with Harlequins 18’s at Loosehead. Looking for a club where he can develop, we are delighted to have him join our ranks where he can benefit from the likes of Tom Bristow and Charlie Connor and their vast experience in the game.

Craig Holland

Having been a stand out player in the National Leagues for a number of seasons, Craig joins us as a n°10 from Rosslyn Park where he was their leading point scorer in their previous 2022/23 National 1 campaign. Living and working locally with a growing family, Craig was also really motivated by what we are doing as a club so it appeared to be a logical decision. We are very excited to see Craig reinforce our backline in a key position.

Joe Andresen

Joe has recently moved to London from Guernsey for whom he played for a number of seasons and with who he played against Dorking. Capable of playing 10/13/15, Joe is another great addition to our backline and will bring an additional versatile option for us. Joe also played for the Norwegian national team recently and is looking forward to getting stuck in with Dorking.

Raymond Jardine

Ray joins Dorking as a back rower from Richmond where he played last season. A keen cricketer and fellow South African, Ray moved locally recently which made joining the club a logical choice. We are looking forward to seeing Ray in a Dorking shirt very soon.

Will Sanders

Will joins Dorking as a winger from Loughborough Uni after helping them reach the BUCS Super Rugby Final last season against Exeter. Will moved back locally, where he is taking up a postgraduate role and looking to carry his BUCS form into National 2 this season.

Zak Stephenson

Having previously been part of the Harlequins 18’s setup Zak joined us towards the end of last season where he impressed in training and 2nd XV games. As a prop Zak will be looking to develop at senior rugby level and learn from the experienced players in the squad. We are very excited to see Zak in action this season.

Oliver Brunning

Oli recently represented London South East at 12 and is on his way to university but was looking to establish himself at a club where he can develop as a player. A physical player with some serious skill, we are looking forward to seeing Oli get some game time in the red and white shirt.

As well as senior players joining us these summer, there is some great talent in 50 strong colts section with 15 or so eligible and capable of playing senior rugby before the end of the season and follow the likes of Oli Shepherd and Oli Rawlinson last season.

With that in mind we thought we would try and pick 4 who we feel could be breakthrough players this year for the 1st team:

William Derbishire*

Will has been training with the senior team and been look comfortable at both 10 or 12.

Charlie Nicholls*

Charlie is comfortable at 10 or back 3 with tremendous turn of pace.

Will Simpson*

Will is a great full back and comfortable on the wing as well with some cracking pace.

Tom Iles*

Tom has not missed a senior session this pre-season and is improving weekly which is great to see. Tom is a great 12 with skill sets to play elsewhere.
