Dorking u16 entered a few girls into the festival over the weekend.

We joined forces with Chippenham who we met last year at the same festival. Dorking girls proved to be a formidable force adding huge value to the team. Excellent rucking from forwards maddie, poppy and amalie saw us turning over several balls in the first two matches, with Darcey running in the tries which meant we had a clean sheet.

Ellie and Amalie took on the kicking duties. Taylor helped out with keeping the front row steady with immi and livvy acting as scrum half and centre ensuring the balls were recycled out to the fast chippenham backs.  The Lativian national team, the eventual winners over Havant, were the only team to beat us on day one. Day two saw two more wins and we ended up in the third place play off against Dartford. With one try in it we lost despite a valiant comeback at 21-0 down.

A fantastic weekend of rugby with over 1000 girls playing on site finishes up our most successful season yet.
