With RWC 2019 completed we are now able to bring you the final scores of the Dorking RFC World Cup Sweepstake and to confirm our prize winners.

With England and South Africa competing in the final there was the opportunity for a number of ticket holders to score big, it all depended on what they had as back up. The best of the rest fell to Japan who were the 3rd ranked top scorers. Fiji were the 4th ranked best scoring side with Samoa doing well for the supposed minnows.

With over 350 tickets sold, a vast array of combinations were snapped up but there was one ticket that managed to maximise their abilities, scoring a whopping 81 points. The owner of that ticket… Barney Davies! Congratulations to Barney, but there were also some top prizes available for the tickets placed in the top 4. With this in mind, we are pleased to confirm that Steve Willoughby, Tracey Mitchell and Chris Sejean are all winners.

Where there was a scoring draw for any of the prizes at the end of the tournament the winning order was to be calculated by a second draw out of a hat of the tickets involved. The draw took place earlier this afternoon and as such the final order is as follows:

Winner: Barney Davies

2nd Place: Steve Willoughby

3rd Place: Tracey Mitchell

4th Place: Chris Sejean

 Prizes included:

  •  Magnum of Bollinger Champagne
  • £100 DRFC Bar Tab
  • Fortnum & Mason Christmas Hamper
  • Pair of 2020 Gallagher Premiership Final Tickets

A massive THANK YOU to everyone for entering – and a special thanks to Matt Higgins for organising. As a result of the sweepstake, we have raised over £1,200 towards the Medical and Rehabilitation Centre. Your support really is appreciated!
